Two people  indicted of sowing in flowerpots in their house plants to produce narcotics have been acquitted, at least until the Supreme Court pronounces in the case.
With the signature of the judges Eduardo Feiller and Eduardo Farra, the sentence confirmed that it is unconstitutional the Law that punishes with jail the one who sows plants to produce narcotics.
The judges determined that “the quantity and the circumstances that surrounded this case allow them to affirm that the cultivation or sowing of marijuana was for personal consumption”
Precisely the dismissed people were possessing four flowerpots in which they were cultivating marijuana plants with a total weight of 75,12 grams.
