“I will try to reconstruct the face of Mickey Rourke”

rourke
“Mickey Rourke will come to Argentina at the end of July”, confirmed Dr. Cristian Pérez Latorre, surgeon, who spoke with Momento24.

“For the moment, we maintained telephone contact. He contacts to us across a friend and patient that I had and she lives there”, told Pérez Latorre and added “he has a  problem similar as Priscilla Presley, a facial surgery with silicon grafts very badly realized and not only that, but his nose must be reconstructed”.

“All his face will be reconstructed, we will remove everything he has been done before until now and will do the work again. His face is inflated”, the surgeon described.

Finally, who will operate on Rourke in Argentina said, “we will do a nose correction, a lift correction and a reconstructive surgery with laser. In 48 hrs he will recover and for a few weeks his face will be inflamed and in 30 days he will be able to show a perfect face.”

I hope to God this is a false news report. Mickey should not let another plastic surgeon touch his face — especially someone outside the United States, where it is harder to judge a surgeon’s credentials. In the U.S., a surgeon needs to be Board certified and preferably, also affiliated in a teaching position at a major hospital. Furthermore, Mickey could improve his appearance tenfold by getting rid of those stupid hair extensions, and if necessary, have some hair transplants to put back his sideburns and so the side of this hairline is the way it used to be. Everybody ages and Mickey is no exception. He should age gracefully, leave his face alone and restyle his hair and he’ll look better. He doesn’t need to look like he did 25 years ago. Let’s hope this surgeon is not telling the truth and just wants publicity.

I love Mickey Rourke. I want him to be happy. A face is in the eye of the beholder. He is beautiful on the inside, just as he is on the outside. I believe this should be his choice. I wish that I could meet him no matter what his face looks like.

    Mickey,

I’m glad Mickey plans on remodeling his face again after 10 or so years since his last plastic surgery. compare how looks now to pictures of him 18 or so years ago during the 80’s and early 90’s. Can’t wait 2 see Iron Man 2 next year and I’m glad MIckey Rourke is playing the villain in the movie!

Good lock for Mickey Rourke because he is the greatest actor in the world.

  6. anonymous says:

Yeah it is a big risk but I understand why he wants to do it. His face is pretty screwed up and the plastic surgeons that he went to were terrible. This doc seems pretty good.

  7. MAUREEN says:

DON’T DO IT MICKEY. YOU LOOK GREAT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

  8. Therese says:

BAD IDEA! I think that Mickey needs to leave his face alone…he has a rough-hewn, strong, sexy gangster look …there is no guarantee that this re-do will improve things and he could lose what he has, which is that dangerous, tough ’street’ vibe…

Oh, and yeah, don’t they have confidentialty laws in this country? I would hesitate to use a doctor who instantly spoke to the media about me…

And Mickey, if you insist on doing this, don’t touch those lips!

  9. hellowwine says:

hi,bro, are you ready to be that white rat?

  10. hellowwine says:

    this topic:”i will try …..”,
    you think what about that?
in my opinion ,it is a big risk.
if you were that patient ,how to “trust” a doctor who never ever diagnose or cure your ailment?
and if you really want to try the surgery, why “first in partially(a little bit)” not in totally (all of the face)?
hey,it is a really really big risk.
    no any guaranty of success.

    What happened to medical confidentiality?

  12. Ashley says:

Thats great news. Hes probably waiting to do it after he finishes filming Iron Man 2 and The Expendables.
