The official documentary maker of the United States government who filmed the remains of the Twin Towers after the offense of September 11, 2001, has political asylum in Argentina and denounces the CIA is after him.

Kurt Sonnenfeld is an American citizen and he was a documentary maker hired by the US  government to go to “Ground Zero” of the Twin Towers and to register the local scenes after the 9/11 attack.

One year later, he was accused for the murder of his wife and was absolved. He denounced that he suffered tortures and illegal pressures while he was in prison.

He immigrated to Argentina, where he re-married. The Government of the United States asked for his extradition for the murder of his wife.

Sonnenfeld associates his “pursuit” with the papers that he compiled on the ruins of the Twin Towers. With the support of human rights organizations, he achieved the political asylum in the country and two Argentine agents are protecting him.

He wrote a book, “Persecution”, where he denounces everything he saw in “Ground Zero”. He supports that there were buildings that were destroyed without any reason and that in the basement there were documents of the CIA that he did not find he came there with his camera.
