According to Church sex education official manual is “neo-marxist”
The archbishop of La Plata and president of the Commission of Catholic Education, monsignor Héctor Aguer, criticized the approach of a Government released document on sex education, which he qualified of “neo-marxist” and “totalitarian”.
The polemic material is a teachers’ formation manual in sex education and prevention of VIH/Aids, with 302 pages, released jointly by the Education department and the Health department, and is based on Aids programs from the UN and other international organisms .
The archbishop criticized the book for inculcating into children and adolescents the idea of sex as a human right, without mentioning love, responsibility, marriage and family as a life project, and also for presenting a neo-marxist vision of sexuality.
