
The Police and the Army evicted today Zelaya followers who were trying to block roads in Tegucigalpa. A person was shot in his head.
“There has been an enormous repression in one of the highways. There are hurt people, police have thrown gas bombs and I think there are some arrested”, reportedtrade union leader and leader of Frente de Resistencia against the facto goverment, Carlos H. Reyes.
According to Reyes, disturbs took place shortly after demonstrators were blocking the north exit of the capital of the country, in an area known as El Durazno.
The leader assured that the Police and the Army used guns and tear gases to expel them from the place.
Other demonstrators told that the uniformed ones also shot gum bullets, threw gas bombs from a helicopter, prevented the assistance to the injured and chased them.
According to latest news, there are 88 arrested and 25 injured, one in critical condition, with a shot in the head.
Until now, the repression against demonstrators who demand the restitution of Zelaya, which couldn´t return to the country after the coup, have left three dead.
