The basketball national team lost to Brazil by 67 to 76. Tomorrow the team will play against Panama.

After the initial defeat against Venezuela, Sergio Hernandez’s team could not beat his South American classic. Brazil led the match from start to finish, and rounded off a victory without any obstacle.

Argentina’s coach said that “Brazil is one of the most solid teams in the tournament. “We lost to someone better.”

Luis Scola, with 19 victories, was the scorer of the Argentine line-up which will play again this Saturday against Panama. The victory can’t be delayed because four of the five teams from each group will advance to the next round.

Games for today:

Vs. Virgin Islands. Canada (at 17), Venezuela vs. Panama (19.30), and Uruguay vs. Puerto Rico (22). Free: Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
