A 28 year old man who lives in Mercedes town, Buenos Aires province was arrested accused of being part of an international network of child pornography.
The detainee, identified as Damian Paleschi, was arrested during a raid performed at the house of 15th Street, between 33 and 35 of Mercedes where the police seized a computer with child pornography.
The raid was prepared by the head of the Functional Unit of Complex Research of Mercedes, Juan Bidone, in connection with an investigation started in Germany on a pedophile ring linked via the Internet.
Police sources revealed that through analysis of personal identifications (IP’s) of a computer in Germany, succeeded in establishing the links with different parts of the world.
German researchers sent the Argentine authorities the location of a computer used here to download and broadcast pornographic images of minors.
With that information, the researchers came to the house of Paleschi, which had two computers on which they found images of child pornography, in videos and photographs.
Informants indicated that Paleschi distributed child pornography through a file-sharing network, called “eDonkey” or “edonkey2000″ used by pedophiles in different countries.
