
The International Committee of the Red Cross reported on Saturday that one of their representatives managed to enter the Brazilian Embassy in Tegucigalpa, to check the health of people who are in it.
Authorities in Brazil, have requested the Committee to control the state of health of personnel at its embassy in Honduras.
Manuel Zelaya denounced that “the military released toxic gases inside the embassy,” the de facto president, Roberto Micheletti, immediately denied the accusation.
The Security Council of the United Nations made “an appeal to the de facto government of Honduras to stop harassing people who remain inside the Brazilian Embassy in Tegucigalpa” and further condemned “acts of intimidation against deposed president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, after returning to the country by surprise. “
