Claudia Schiffer and German designer Karl Lagerfeld, two of the most recognized personalities in the fashion world, are in Argentina.
Schiffer is in Buenos Aires for a photo shoot for Chanel on location in Argentina. Both were invited by the Argentine model Ivan de Pineda.
With a team of photographers and producers, the celebrities staying at the Hotel Alvear.
The idea was to start working today, but the photo shoot could be delayed because of the climate.
This work is done a few weeks after the supermodel announced her retirement from the catwalk.
Schiffer announced that she will not get on the runway though she will continue to work in fashion. “I have finished with the catwalk and not miss,” she confessed.
Meanwhile Lagerfeld was in headlines by declaring war on curvy women. “Nobody wants to see a round woman,” said the tailor.
Several years ago, Lagerfeld rejected the proposal to create garments with a size beyond the 38 for a brand because he did not want to design clothing for overweight women.
The ‘Kaiser’ of fashion is a designer, but also a photographer and filmmaker. He is recognized as one of the most talented contemporary designers, which recreates every season with the most current impressions of the brand created by Coco Chanel.
