Diego Maradona Sinagra, Diego Maradona’s Italian son, said that his father outdoes Lionel Messi as player and he defended his management of the national team.

“Messi is terrestrial and Maradona, extraterrestrial,” said Dieguito Jr, who had a meeting with his father two years ago.

“When Messi is in the national team, he plays under the fans’ and the media’s pressure, it’s not that he plays different in Barcelona,” said the young man who follows Diego’s steps closely.

“Argentina showed to have the character necessary to beat a team like Uruguay”, and he added that he was “delighted” with qualifying for the World Cup.

“There couldn’t be a World Cup without Argentina, thank goodness we got the standings.”

About the team’s performance he said: “There are points of view, the team surely doesn’t have a perfect performance, but at this time it’s giving the necessary results,” he added.

The young footballer, River fan, is playing in minor league teams in southern Italy, after having played four years in Naples and one season in Genoa.
