Adidas presented the jersey which Argentina’s national football team will wear during the next World Cup in South Africa 2010.
At the ceremony were present the President of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) Julio Grondona and midfielder Juan Sebastián Verón. However, who was not present was the coach, Diego Maradona.
Ther shirt will be worn for the first time in November in Madrid, Spain.Veron was the player who represented the national squad and who commented that “this is the best shirt Argentina ever had.”
The new model comes in two versions. One, which will surely be the used by the professional staff is well-adjusted to the body and has a sun printed in the back along with the sentence: “crowned with glory or swear to live glory die. ” From Argentina’s National Anthem.
The crest of the jersey is the same used in the 1986 World Cup, when Argentinawon the championship.
