Nick Jonas has revealed why he recently decided to record a solo album without his brothers Kevin and Joe.
The youngest of the three siblings has reportedly completed work on his debut record, which will be released under the name of Nick Jonas & The Administration in early 2010.
Nick explained: “About six months ago, the three of us had a two-week break from touring, and we all decided to go and do something that was on our hearts.
“Joe went on a trip to Australia and New Zealand. Kevin spent some time with his fiancé Danielle. I decided to go to Nashville, TN to make a side-project with four musicians – guys that I had met and worked with before.”
Describing how the songs are shaping up, he added: “I would say it’s ‘heart and soul’, because the music that I make is from my heart, and the lyrics I write are from my soul.
“My brothers and I couldn’t be more excited to have these amazing opportunities as a group, and as individuals. We are already planning another world tour as the Jonas Brothers next summer, and it is all thanks to our amazing fans.”
