A second plane falls into Rio de la Plata in Quilmes
After the fall of a plane at an airport in La Matanza, another plane crashed into the Río de la Plata at the height of Quilmes.
The two men flying on the aircraft were transferred by helicopter to the Quilmes Hospital with minor injuries for prevention.
The aircraft, a twin-engine Piper Apache licensed LV-HDO, belongs to a company which repairs fumigation equipments, they said. The aircraft had departed from the technical school facilities IMPA of Quilmes, which issued the Tecnicatura in aeronautics, and the crew were two, one Argentine and one African of 27 years old.
“It was a practice flight,” said a police chief. The pilot, in his 40s, Nestor Gentile only had a cut on his face, and his companion, a citizen from Equatorial Guinea, were treated by the CREM ambulance on-site.
Juan, one of the witness who was fishing in the West Bank reported that “the plane was flying from west to east and when it made a turn toward the south it plummetted towards the water.
