The super hit animated series “The Simpsons” will have a new character that will join the line of classics and holds in the show. His name is Ricardo Pump  a Latin womanizer.

Ricardo Pump, “is someone loved by all women and all men want to be like him”, its creator, Peggy Black, was his creator. The wife of 52 years from Orange, won over 25,000 applicants who submitted their proposals for the popular Fox animated series

“Rrrri carrr-do-Pump will be presented on the January 31st episode, which will feature special frontman Chris Martin from Coldplay.

The episode is called “Million Dollar Maybe” and it is almost ready, it will focus on a winning lottery ticket, Homer Simpson rushes to meet Marge for a date when suddenly he runs into Pump.

“Pump may reappear,” said executive producer Al Jean, one of the contest judges, who described the competition as a thank you to loyal supporters, and was part of the celebration of the 20th anniversary.

Black, fan of the series, was “pinned” to participate by Dwight Vann, a colleague at the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Conn., where she works as operations manager for the cancer center and radiation therapist.

“Bart is my favorite character because he’s a very naughty boy yet so misunderstood.”

When creating the character, Black decided that there was a void in “The Simpsons” and that Springfield needed “something like a Casanova,” she said.

Pump, a handsome man speaking fresh from South America, nicknamed “La Bomba”, works at the nuclear plant of the town during the day and by night works at the single women scene of Springfield, “according to Fox

One of the most fascinating experiences of her visit to the studios, once she won, was to see how the animators brought life to Pump.

“I described the character and they drew him to see if that was the vision I had of him,” she said. “It’s amazing.` It was through the roof ‘. “

Black, who still marvels at her sudden touch of success in Hollywood, avoided the question about the lack of a cash prize.

“I will be forever immortalized for having created a character from ‘The Simpsons’” she said.
