
Villa Regina, Rio Negro, a taxi driver, identified Pomar family, after seeing the photograph published which was taken at the toll booth on Route 7, and appeared before the police authorities to report that he saw ‘a family consisting of a couple and two young daughters similar to the Pomar’.
After the declarations of the taxi driver, the police began researching and searching for the family formed by Fernando Pomar of 40 years, his wife of 37 Gabriela Viagra and two daughters, Candelaria 6 and Pilar 3, missing since Saturday 14th when they were heading to Pergamino.
Judicial sources said that ‘The taxi driver said he saw them at a gas station on Route 22, near Villa Regina in a red car like the Pomar’s.
Because of this statement, Rio Negro Police asked the owners of the station, to send any recordings they might have to the Office of Pergamino for their consideration.
