In a match played at Tomas Duco Stadium in Buenos Aires, San Lorenzo managed to beat it’s classic rival Huracan 2-0.
Just before the game, a group of San Lorenzo fans started a riot and forced the use of tear gas by the police causing a delay of about half an hour.
San Lorenzo got ahead with a close range header by Renato Civelli after a set-piece play. Then J.M. Torres got into the area to score after a good through-ball by Nigerian Felix Orode.
