Telefé aired last night the anticipated new production by Underground Pruductions, “Botineras” which achieves a good fusion of comedy and action with good acting performances and dynamic scenes.
Nicolas Cabre impersonates successful footballer Cristian “Chiqui” Flores, who returns to the country from Europe because of a suspension, and fleeing the rumors linking him with the murder of fellow footballer Andres Layer (Adrián Navarro).
Flores arrives in Argentina with his girlfriend and future wife Marga (Isabel Macedo) and his agent, Tato (Damian De Santo) without knowing he will be the target of a police investigation that leads Laura Posse (Romina Gaetani), who must infiltrate the world of footballers and their environment and reveal the mystery surrounding Flores.
For this, she needs the help of Giselle Lopez (Florencia Peña), who is responsible for transforming the police into a “Botinera” (as Argentinneans refer to young, beautiful women who roam around footballers) in order to accomplish her mission without raising suspicion.
