Rocario Central fails to beat Atletico Tucuman

Rosario Central was unable to define a match when were leading Atletico Tucuman by one goal and the visitors managed to score an equalizer for the final 1 – 1 draw.

The result of the match that opened the 16th round of the Apertura championship leaves locals Rosario farther away from the leaders. Guillermo Burdisso scored for Rosario, while Fabio Escobar equalized for the visitors.

At 8, Guillermo Burdisso headed a corner kick to set Rosario’s provisional lead .

The tie came at 77: Fabio Escobar, the striker who contributed vital goals for his team in the second half, overcame the resistance of keeper Galindez with an outstanding strike.
