With the presidential elections round the corner Daniel Passarella spoke about River’s problems since Aguilar took charge.
Some of his remarks were:
“River is breaking records: Sinteplast, no players in the national team, ended up in last position and has a record number of dead within it’s fans“.
“River is lacking clinical eye to spot players. The coaches that the club has only care about winning games but disregard the future of the players”.
“People are asking me to wipe out the rats“
“Current management are hiding themselves behind Dónofrio”
He compared Aguilar’s management with what Eduardo Lopez has done in Newell’s. He is happy that the ‘lepers’ are doing fine now but happier with the thought that once ‘evil’ is removed, the club can recover quickly.
He also spoke about his relationship with Ramon Diaz and to everyone trying to disrupt his campaign by saying he is a Boca supporter, Passarella ended:
“The goals I celebrated the most during my career are the ones I made against Boca”

So, Passarella is comparing River’s current administration to that of former Newell’s president Lopez, is he? I wonder if that means El Ogro Fabbiani will demand a move to a new club when the rats are removed for the team’s offices.
