Private cemetery Parque La Merced in the city of Pergamino, will be the final resting place for Luis Fernando Pomar, Gabriela Viagran and their two daughters, Pilar and Candelaria, who died in a traffic accident on route 31.
At 11 am there will be a ceremony and burial of the family, whose fate was followed by a whole country over the last month, before the great mystery of their whereabouts, as the family left Jose Marmol on 14 November heading to Pergamino.
The bodies arrived to Cocheria Luz y Fuerza, located on Castelli and Bonifacio, last night at around 12:15. By decision of the family a wake wasn’5 held.
Luis Fernando Pomar’s sister, Cecilia, had to go yesterday to Lomas de Zamora courts, where the judicial morgue is located, to recognize her brother, her sister in law and her two nieces’ clothes.
The prosecutor handling the case, Karina Pollice, along with other judicial assistants accompanied Cecilia when she made the recognition.
At about 20.50 the remains of the Pomars were taken to their hometown in two ambulances from the municipality of Pergamino, where they are awaited by their relatives, acquaintances and friends.
