In an interview done by momento24.com, the chorist of the Rolling Stones, Bernard Fowler, said that a concert of the legendary band in 2010 in Buenos Aires wasn’t confirmed yet. “They are having meetings but a show can’t be confirmed yet.”
During his visit to Buenos Aires, Fowler had the opportunity to meet the Argentine public as a soloist in a show that he gave in ‘Niceto’. “I love being here, people are great” he said.
There, he shared stage with Charly Garcia, who said: “I loved playing with him, there is so many people who love him here, and I love his music. Although he doesn’t speak Spanish, he has a great talent.” Fowler also pointed to Garcia’s recovery after his serious trouble with drugs saying that: “It’s good that he’s back. These problems (drugs problems) are not unique to him, many people suffers due to that, so it’s good that he could take care of those problems”
The most important question was referred to a note published by a web site where Fowler stated that next year (this year) he would return with Rolling Stones, confirming the presence of the English band in Argentina.
Fowler denied this saying: “I can’t confirm anything related to the Rolling Stones. These decisions are made by Keith (Richards) and Mick (Jagger). I know they are having meetings, but the truth is that I’m still waiting”
Fowler, who since 1985 is part of the most important band of recent times, recounted that during his visit here, he had the chance to hear some national artists, and that ‘el turco Naim’ of Showmatch cooked him a “chorizo” in a barbecue he made for friends.
