After two months of a forced vacation, Argentina’s coach can work again. He was banned by FIFA after the incident in the press conference after the match against Uruguay in Montevideo that gave Argentina the ticket to the World Cup. He was not able to do any activity realted to football.
Last october 15th, the world heard the famous and infamous ‘Que la chupen’ (keep on sucking), and Josep Blatter’s boys couldn’t look aside. They imposed Diego a two month ban and a 16.500 euros fine.
But the ban is over today and Maradona comes back reloaded: he will announce the list of players he will call for the match against Costa Rica on january 26, and will travel next sunday to Pretoria where he will get to know ‘albiceleste’s’ bunker in the World Cup.
Argentina is also trying to arrange a friendly match with Jamaica next february 10 and will face Germany on march 3.
