David Beckham: “City will never be bigger than United”

David_Beckham_1546668cHours before the meeting of Manchester archrivals for the first game of the Carling Cup semifinals, the ‘Spice Boy’ turned up the heat. Carlitos Tevez’s team are itching for revenge after falling 4 to 3 with Michael Owen’s late goal at Old Trafford in their last meeting.

Beckham’s arrival to Milan brought fresh air to a team that now has a four game winning streak. But David, having a good time at the rossonero discipline, does not forget to back the team he loves:

“City will never be bigger than United. Money does a lot for a club and a team, but being succesful and being one of the most recognized clubs in the world doesn’t como from money. It’s about history. There aren’t many clubs that can boast the history of Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona or AC Milan”, said the former Englan captain.
