Gerardo Sofovich staged a fight with journalist Pablo Layus from “Intrusos”, host by Jorge Rial. Gerardo is a bitter rival of the gray-haired producer.
The fight began when Sofovich was giving an interview and he was rebuked by Intrusos journalist Pablo Layus, who according to the producer was “hiding”.
Sofovich had stated that he had attempted to “charge” him for an interview. There Layus got angry and went straight to him and started verbally attacking him.
Sofovich looked distressed at this, but the journalist didn’t look calm either.
“You’re not a journalist,” stormed Sofovich, who refused to talk to Rial, who was listening to everything live. “Rial, Ventura and you plotted against me,” he said before getting into his car escorted by police. The police didn’t intervene in the conflict.
Rial, who since the beginning of the summer relishes the little audience that Sofovich’s show is luring in Villa Carlos Paz, said: “I still challenge you face to face wherever you want. Show the kind of person you are”, said Rial, who argued that he only refers to the numbers, joking about the alleged plot that his rival accuses him of.
