Spanish ‘Valientes’

On Monday will be aired the first episode of the Spanish version of the Argentine blockbuster series by Pol-ka Productions “Valientes”, which was starred by Mariano Martinez, Luciano Castro and Gonzalo Heredia in its original version.

The Spanish remake will be broadcast on Channel Four at 3:30 pm. Fernando Jerez, chairman of the channel said: “Valientes is the reference series in Latin America, a boom, the greatest success of Argentina and the main topic of conversation in that country.”

He added: “This is a desired product worldwide and has been successful in every television markets where it has been introduced,” Jerez said in remarks reproduced by Vertel.

The actors in the Spanish version a:

  • Julian Gil (He plays Leo Soto) was born in Buenos Aires on June 13, 1970, but his life was spent mostly in Venezuela and Puerto Rico. He has worked on many soap operas and this year won in Mexico the Golden Califa Award for Best Actor.

  • Marco de Paula: (He plays Pablo Soto) Born in Seville in 1977 and worked in Planta 25, Hospital Central and Arrayan.

  • Michel Gurfi: (He plays Mario Soto) was born in Buenos Aires 27 years ago. He has worked in Los Serrano and Física y Química in addition to having participated in the program Mira quién baila!.
