Cuban singer Pablo Milanés has apologized for his performance last Thursday at the Festival of Cosquín, where he played only nine songs, and never returned to the stage.
“I have to apologize because I felt awful, but just did not want to fail them and went to sing anyway, but when it was the ninth song, I could not stand it,” Milanes told the Municipal Commission of Folklore.
The Cuban was booed by the audience at that time and comments of all kinds arose. He continued by saying: “By the time I arrived in Buenos Aires I had a high fever, a strongnsore throat and an overall condition that ventured difficulties for me in Cosquín, but just wanted to go forward. “
“I apologize to all the people and audience in Cosquín who came to participate in the 50 anniversary of the festival, I know I’m in debt to them, but I estimate that in the May I will pay my debt back.”
