A lone goal scored by Mohamed Gedo, who came from de bench, in the 85th minute gave the trophy to the PharaohsT. his result makes it the seventh time Egypt has won the trophy – and the only country to have won it this number of times.
The Hassan Shehata led side have been favourites to win this year’s edition hosted by Angola. 15 goals scored, only two received and six victories makes Egypt the best team in the tournament by far.
