On his first day on board of the Ferrari F10, the twice world champion Fernando Alonso set the fastest time on the third day of testing at Valencia.
A huge crowd of 35,000 spectators turned out to watch the Spaniard top the times with the fastest lap of the test. Alonso’s speed suggests that Ferrari’s new F10 car is more than competitive
With the new F10, Alonso set the lap record with a time of 1:11.470 minutes. Pedro de la Rosa was second with Sauber and multichampion Michael Schumacher finished third with a time of 1:12,438 minutes.
