A sport utility vehicle belonging to Charlie Sheen has been found crashed in a steep ravine near his California home, Los Angeles police said.
The actor reported that his Mercedes Benz SUV car had been stolen around 4am on Friday. Around the same time, police reported that a car had driven down a cliff off Mulholland Drive.
Local news reports show the car upside down about 100 feet down a brush-covered ravine. Officer Bruce Borihanh said authorities searched the area on foot and by helicopter but there is no evidence that anyone was in the car when it crashed. He added the case is being treated as an auto theft.
