The adolescent of 14 years old who had been shot in the head while he was traveling in a bus with Newell’s fans died, and it becomes in a new chapter in Argentine football violence.
The sad news was confirmed by Secretary of Public Health in Santa Fe, Lelio Mangiaterra, and source of the police investigation, after two days in which Walter Cáceres was agonizing. Last night they had reported the death, but today it emerged that he remained in critical condition, leaving a glimmer of hope. But Walter could not resist and now his death have been confirmed.
The incident occurred yesterday at 4 am on Highway Rosario-Buenos Aires, after the match between Huracan and Newell’s.
Consequently, the young man was hospitalized in critical condition after been shot three bullets in his skull and one in the lower back.
