This Sunday the people of Costa Rica, will select the future president of the country and 57 representatives.
More than 2.8 million people were called to the polls this Sunday to participate in the future of the country through the presidential election.
The candidates who have a greater opportunity are: the National Liberation Party candidate, Laura Chinchilla, Otto Guevara, a lawyer for 49 years representing the Libertarian Movement and Otton Solis, an economist for 55 years and leader of the ‘Partido Acción Ciudadana (PAC)’.
Laura Chinchilla spent time in contact with his command throughout the country and visited shortly after noon, the Basilica of Los Angeles in Cartago, 40 km from San Jose.
Otto Guevara, visited a soccer stadium in a poor district of the capital.
Otton Solis with his allies roamed the capital on Saturday with their red and yellow flags.
Penón Margaret, former wife of President Arias Solis gave his support, stating that “Citizen Action is a green party of parity democracy, citizen participation, growth with equitable distribution of wealth”.
The final results will be announced during tomorrow.
