Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner said at the opening of a supermarket in Ezeiza that her husband is “very well” and appreciated the show of concern and affection from everybody.
“Néstor Kirchner is fine. So good he is, he called me from the cell of my son, Max, five minutes ago. I thank all the samples of concern and affection,” president said.
Hours earlier, the head of state was suspending its activities to monitor the recovery of her husband. But around noon, and with news about a positive recovery of Néstor Kirchner, official sources indicated that she would maintain “all her normal activities.
Throughout the morning, the President was in the Los Arcos clinic, accompanying her husband, operated yesterday by a blockage in the right carotid.
