Missing climber found dead in San Juan
The 40 years old climber missing since February 24th was found dead in a hole of Mercedario hill in San Juan.
Javier Paduczek was missing for 12 days, when he attempt to climb the Mercedario at 6670 meters above the sea.
Since Saturday rescue team had sighted a “yellow object” locatedat 6,000 meters. Rescuers, who took pictures at a distance, could confirm it was actually him.
Paduczek was accompanied by Paula Moran, who did reach the top of the hill. But once she went down and had no news of Javier, she notified the authorities.
