Venezuela strengthens the borders and Santos changes the military leadership

As leaked by official sources, the Venezuelan government decided to reinforce the border of that country and Colombia with 1,000 soldiers. On the other hand, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos changed his military leaders. Why? In both countries, citizens want peace.

The government of Hugo Chavez ordered the mobilization of nearly a thousand troops to the border between Venezuela and Colombia as a preventive measure, ordering them only to be on alert, without engaging in any aggressive operations. At the same time the President has insisted that his views are on peace and that he is working to find a solution that corresponds to that path.

Santos is not an angel either, while he shields accusing an exaggeration from his Bolivarian pair in response to allegations of his country, he changes the five major commands of the armed forces making Edgar Celis Commander in Chief. Having been confirmed the suspicions of an extensive dialogue between the Colombian president and U.S. officials; this act also leaves much to wish for.

Meanwhile, the peoples of both countries seek only peace. It is worth remembering that these countries were once one in the Gran Colombia that generated Simón Bolívar. Particularly in Venezuela, more than half the population is to demonstrate that there is no relation with the FARC in order to resume relations with their neighbors and brothers.
