In Brazil, forensic experts identified the last body recovered from the Atlantic, after the accident of flight AF 447 Air France, on June 1st this year, and fell into the Atlantic Ocean, killing all 228 people on board, while flying from Rio de Janeiro to Paris.

Officials in Brazil have identified the first 11 of 50 bodies recovered from the Air France disaster in which 228 people died three weeks ago.

A French pathologist sent to Brazil had not been authorized to take part in the autopsies of recovered bodies, and France had not had access to the Brazilian autopsy results.

The search for bodies and debris from Air France Flight 447 took on renewed urgency, meanwhile, as experts questioned how much longer efforts would prove fruitful, even as six more bodies were pulled from the Atlantic.

The authorities of the Brazilian Air Force informed that in accordance with the declarations of the forensic scientists, the first 16 bodies they analyzed are unrecognizable, and in high decomposition grade.

Six more bodies from last week’s Air France crash have been recovered from the Atlantic Ocean by the French ship Mistral. The theory that the plane disintegrated in the air is reinforced because most bodies were found without clothes, which could have been taken by the wind during the fall.

Search crews have recovered 24 bodies of passengers on the Air France flight that crashed in the Atlantic Ocean eight days ago with 228 people on board, Brazil’s military said Monday. They also recovered a large tail section from the jetliner, helping narrow the hunt for “black boxes” that could reveal the disaster’s cause.

So far, a total of 17 bodies were recovered since the day the plane disappeared from radar.
