The 18th annual gay parade in Plaza de Mayo was held with the aim to encourage same-sex marriages, reject misdemeanours codes, support increased tolerance and the enactment of anti-discrimination legilslation.

At Plaza de Mayo, starting at 3:00 pm, they local gay community will march to defend their rights.

Hundreds of clowns marched towards the Basilica de Guadalupe in Mexico City on Wednesday to thank the Virgin, who is Mexico’s patron saint, for helping and protecting their lives and to pray for good business in the coming year.
