Private cemetery Parque La Merced in the city of Pergamino, will be the final resting place for Luis Fernando Pomar, Gabriela Viagran and their two daughters, Pilar and Candelaria, who died in a traffic accident on route 31.

The mayor of Pergamino, Hector Gutierrez, reported that there was a 101 (the local 911 number) call on November 14 warning that an accident had occured in the area were the Pomar family members were found dead 24 days later.

Amid the sacndal over the Pomars find, 24 days after they went missing, investigative reports show that Gabriela Viagran would have lived after the accident took place.

Paul Starc, Undersecretary of investigations, announced today at a press conference that Safety Minister Carlos Stornelli from the province of Buenos Aires dismissed three police chiefs, and called for the resignation of all superintendents of the Buenos Aires province police force after the polemic unleashed about the family’s find 24 days after they went missing.

The search of the Pomars continued today in farm located in Rancagua, about 20 miles south of Pergamino. The ranch belongs to the grandfather’s father’s family.

The last data that came out today regarding the search of the Pomars is that someone activated one of the mobile phones they had in the town of Chivilcoy.

Pomar family is still missing and investigators are analyzing a CPU after a raid at their home in Jose Marmol.

The Secretary of Safety Research from the Safety Ministry of Buenos Airse, Paul Starc, who travelled to Pergamino to gather with the people close to the missing family, said that he “hopes to find the Pomars alive” and he added that “we can’t rule anything out yet”.

In recent days the national media talks with concern about the dissapearance of the Pomar family, who had left from the town of Jose Marmol, in the province of Buenos Aires, and they were heading towards Pergamino where they never arrived.

A new video shows the Pomar family was in their vehicle on Saturday November 14, the day they went missing and their intense search began.

Villa Regina, Rio Negro, a taxi driver, identified Pomar family, after seeing the photograph published which was taken at the toll booth on Route 7, and appeared before the police authorities to report that he saw ‘a family consisting of a couple and two young daughters similar to the Pomar’.

A tape recorded by toll security cameras on Route 7, shows the last picture ever of the Pomar family on Saturday night on Lujan way, which helped clarify that indeed they headed for Pergamino.

A couple and their two children, residents of Jose Marmol, Almirante Brown, were reported missing on Saturday when they travelled to visit relatives in Pergamino.
