NationaDeputy from Catamarca Province, Genaro Collantes died yesterday due to pancreatic cancer. Collantes had a great relationship with vice-president Julio Cobos and was 63 years old.

The General Law and Family, Women and Minority committees, of the Representatives House today failed to gather a quorum to amend the civil marriage law, allowing same-sex marriages.

Amid a maelstrom of opinions on the subject, the House of Representatives will begin to discuss two bills that enable same-sex marriages on Friday.
