Today marks one month after the death of popular singer Roberto Sánchez, better known as Sandro. During the session be held Masses in his honor, while the arrival of thousands of fans to the cemetery are expected.

After a bronchial complication, Sandro undergoes emergency surgery at the Italiano Hospital of Mendoza. It is the fifth cirgury after the transplant and his doctors stated that “this is the worst moment since he was admitted to the medical center”.

Sandro is being operated for the fifth time, after being transplanted on 20 November. The doctors declared that “they do everything possible for him to survive”.

Sandro is gradually and slowly recovering. Hospital Italiano director Miguel Nicolas said that “it is a process that takes time, and therefore it’ll be resolved with the pass of time”.

Roberto Sanchez ‘Sandro’, last night, was operated again because of an infection installed in the trachea, causing his temperature to rise above the normal.

Sandro’s health remains very complicated. Now the artist suffers from pneumonia which further complicates his recovery after the multi-organ transplant he underwent.

Roberto Sanchez, better known as Sandro, received a heart-lung transplant on November 20 and although his evolvement had been very favorable so far, doctors reported that he had a lung infection and underwent emergency surgery.

The new medical report on the health of the popular singer known as Sandro, syas that his condition is “stable and without fever”. Besides, the doctors said he is in “very good spirits”.

According to doctors looking after Sandro, the singer was today “hemodynamically stable” and said there was nothing in particular to be worried about, a week after the transplant.

Roberto Sanchez (aka Sandro) “will receive a transplant in the next few hours in Mendoza,” confirmed on Wednesday his press agent Nora Lafón.

Roberto Sanchez “Sandro” turns 64, and although he is hospitalized in the Instituto Argentino de Diagnostico, waiting for a multi-organ transplant, as every year, his unconditional supporters, continued the tradition, and gathered at the door of his house.
