Contact was lost between the International Space Station (ISS) and the ground mission control of the Discovery Shuttle in Houston Texas, for 33 minutes.
The news was reported by Rob Navias, NASA spokesman, who however confirmed that no safety problems had been found on board during the blackout and that contact has been reinstated.
